They Pinkie swear to give us good coffee, good food, and good moods.

Dom & Diana Caruso know exactly how it’s done, having set the bar high at No. 19 in Ascot Vale, and St Rose in Essendon.

Award-winning interior designer Jean-Pierre Biasol excels with this project, creating a light filled space, which combines the elegance of black terrazzo, softness of rose and pink tones, and warmth of live greenery. Glass blocks are a striking feature working well with the concrete surrounds, and the upholstered bench seating punctuates the dining areas sophistication.

The menu is also a project in creative prowess, with highly instagrammable (and most importantly, delicious) dishes such as Banana Bread Stacks with Maple Mascarpone; Corn & Halloumi Fritters with beetroot crème fraiche; and Parmesan & Herb Crumbed Schnitzel with caramelised onions and cheddar.

Coffee is sourced from Code Black, with the 3056 Blend for milk coffee, and rotating singles for black coffee.

Melburnians have been told, this vow shall not be broken.

Find Pinkie at 1 Westley Ave, Ivanhoe.
